Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

I create a lot of how-to pdfs which include screen shots that are posted on a website for downloading. It is nice to have small files, but it is more important that they be readable. With most pdf compression you get max compression/poor image quality or nothing. The screen shots usually make the viewer think they are desperately in need of cataract surgery. With PDFCompress I can get a good compromise between image quality and file size. And the interface couldn't be simpler. Adjust the quality in Preferences and drag and drop the pdf onto the application icon. It's inexpensive, fast, simple, effective and works flawlessly in Leopard, too. What's not to like?
