I used it to clone my Mac drive to an external Firewire drive, so as to be able to use the external drive's Tiger 10.4.10 Disk Utility to fix some problems that developed on my Mac drive. The version on my install disk was unsuccessful, apparently it is still at Tiger 10.4.01 and unable to fix a problem with 10.4.10. Or that is what was suggested to me on the Mac forums. It worked, thank God, and saved me some money that I didn't really have which I was thinking would have to go towards Disk Warrior.
There's my background. Carbon Copy worked great, it cloned about 130 GB's with absolutely no problems in a little over 2 hours. I haven't yet tried the auto backup, but you can be sure I will, and I imagine it'll be great. I've gotta give this guy ten bucks. Try it! It works!
