This tip also helped me to resolve a problem with OS10.4.10, upgraded to Quicktime 7.3. Toast started failing after the QT update, but this tip fixed it (no thanks to Roxio Customer Service, which was uncharacteristically completely unhelpful). THANKS!Friday, November 16 2007 @ 11:36 PM PST

Pulling Xvid out worked great for me. Before when I would try to type the first character of the serial number Toast 8 would crash. After I pulled Xvid out I was able to enter the serial number with no problem and Toast 8 is working just fine.Saturday, December 15 2007 @ 02:57 PM PST
