Yes they don't care about Mac paltform, they do only what they must do. See MSN Mac client as an example, not even webcam support lol.Tuesday, November 06 2007 @ 11:22 AM PST

Sorry to hear about your issues, but it's been pretty smooth sailing for me, Intel and PPC included. By the way, I've been using MS Mac products since the Mac OS 7 days. Sure, there are some things that could be spruced up, but things have been pretty reliable. You may want to check your system and application setup...Tuesday, November 06 2007 @ 12:05 PM PST

Yeah, it's not hip to defend Microsoft...oh, I mean, M$...but the Microsoft Suite is still the most powerful and integrated and kept-up suite of apps for the Mac including iWork/iLife apps. Use OpenOffice or shareware if you don't like Microsoft but at least get your facts straight: This is the NINTH upgrade to version ELEVEN of the suite (forget the naming convention and look at the facts). In January, Office 2008 will leapfrog Microsoft Office Professional 2007 12.0 for Windows with many Mac-specific features, making it even better than it's been on the Mac as well. And Apple is no slouch when it comes to telling you how you're going to interact with apps, the OS, and its hardware...it just does it better.BTW, do you even know how many people work in the MacBU? Of course you don't. Do you know their budget. Of course not. Do you have any sense of how dedicated the MacBU people are? Obviously not. But here's an insight for anyone who might be interested:

which I found charming and inspiring. (And I don't work for MS, I'm not the above referenced blogger, and I don't give a flying fk about your anemic response to anything I've written here, because like I said, eboretz: Your Comment is Worthless.

While the Mac may be only a small portion of the overall computer market, Mac sales of Office make up about 30% of all copies of Office sold (if I remember correctly). So, while in theory Microsoft could destroy the Mac market by discontinuing development of Office, they'd actually be pretty stupid to do so, since they'd be cutting their Office revenue by 30% for pretty much no reason. That would be a tough one to explain to the shareholders.

30% I was not aware of that large a percentage. Even more the reason they should pay more attention to the mac users needs. Enjoyed your comment and glad to see someone out there does not get abusive about playful commenting.Tuesday, November 06 2007 @ 04:01 PM PST

"Well for those having problems with your version of office on the mac. What did you expect?""Wake up mac users....microsoft does not care about us and wants little to do with mac users needs."
Wow, you truly are the Seinfeld of Mac comedy.
You post inflamatory comments like these two little gems, and then claim to be a "laugh" or "humor", when nothing in your original post suggests that you actually intended it to be light-hearted. Particularly when you line up users of the product in your sight in the process ("what did you expect", "wake up mac users").
I suspect you shot your mouth off and then realized later, back-pedalling with the old "just a joke" thing. You should probably look into getting that big "T" tattooed onto your forehead.
