Computer sound, MP3s in particular, tend to be hollow and whiny, lacking depth and realism. SRS' iWow corrects this in iTunes, making the music experience richer. For me, it means that I can now listen to the music stored on my computer for long periods of time without a headache — even a whole day — something I could never do before (unless I plugged my computer to a real audio system).

iWow was updated for Leopard compatibility less than a week after the official version of the OS was available, and there has been 8 updates in the last year to the software. For me, this is shows excellent support and commitment.

The next improvement would be to extend iWow beyond iTunes, to the whole OS experience. I'm tired of tin-can beeps ! ;-)
