This question is for the developer, before I buy.
I have loads of photos on my iPod with the same file name. Unfortunately, this program, while beautiful, seems to be unable to extract more than one file with the same name. For instance, if I have 10 photos with the name DSCF00001.jpg, and attempt to retrieve all of them, it will overwrite each every time, and you end up with only one photo!
How do I get around this serious limitation? There's absolutely no way I can do them one by one. I have 10000 photos, and probably 1000 of them have duplicate names!

You can change that in the "Settings" Menu by checking the option override photo names. This will change the names of all the pictures so that you can get them even if they have the same name.Saturday, September 27 2008 @ 05:16 AM PDT

Well aren't you silly for having the same name for all photos?Thursday, July 02 2009 @ 06:10 AM PDT

We have added a option to override the photo names given by iPhoto in the newest release. You can turn this on in the preferences to copy files with duplicate names.Reply to This
