Since upgrading to Leopard and reinstalling version 2.4.6, I can't seem to add the Virtual Printer. Leopard lacks the Printer Set Up Utility, and now you can only add printers (or so it seems) while in the print dialog. I'm not sure if holding the option key down while adding a printer this way has the same effect as it did with the dedicated utility.

You can find an 3rd Party Package on The Joy of Scripting (link) which works with Leopard. Sources are included, with Xcode you can adjust anything you want.Friday, November 02 2007 @ 03:05 PM PDT

Didn't try this, but did you try to install this using the advanced installer (while in "Add Printer" dialog right click on the button bar, edit, and add the advanced button. Most "special" printers are added this way.Hope this helps
