This is a one trick pony.
I tried this when looking for something that would download YouTube videos, all I needed was the FireFox plug-in "downloadhelper".
This is app here is OK if you want to show someone how to on a Mac.
I'm sure someone out there will put it to good use but I have no need for it.
I think I did watch a video once that someone made about an app I was having a hard time understanding. So in that case it was freakin awesome.
This is a great app if you have a use for it. It's like a hand grenade. It has very few uses but when you need it, it's a handy tool.

Wrong product and useless review! This is a *great* product that captures screen video, rather than downloading videos from sites

Another Pony... - Saint Rowan
I guess you found another one trick pony that does the job for you, which is great. If you want an easy way to view and keep YouTube vids then Jax works well as a plug-in to iTunes because it monitors your download cache and can convert the video to be used in iTunes/Apple TV/iPhone. Regarding iShowU: I guess you can call it a one trick pony but you can say that about most shareware, which typically is devoted to a unique purpose. But iShowU jumped to the top of screen recorders when Snapz Pro X faltered in the Intel transition.Reply to This
