If this "service" does anything. it doesn't do it in MS Office 2004 (Mac OSX).

Hmm, MS Office 2004.... That is obviously Cocoa based code. NOT.
It clearly states in he description this service works with applications written in Cocoa. Which MS Office 2004 isn't. Before you fire off snide comments, take the time to educate yourself.
