crashes in 10.5 ppc - dfeira

I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of this particular bug.
Recording from microphones and other devices is broken on Leopard. If this is not happening with a microphone or other device please contact our support at: help AT ambrosiasw.com

We have an update in the works that addresses Leopard specific issues. It will be out ASAP.

that may well be so but it shouldn't crash should it ? an uncaught exception is just poor programming, the more so if you actually know what the problem is.

usarian, Ambrosia cannot foretell the future. When an operating system changes, application programmers have to play catch-up. Best not to upgrade an OS until you are sure that a currently-used application is fully compatible.

no, uncaught exceptions are just bad programming, its always possible to catch them regardless of the cause
