I, too, originally wanted to buy FLVR after my demo expired, (it's NOT shareware, folks) but I never got a response from the email listed on their web site that should be contacted if you want to buy it. I asked them how I can send them money so I could have a fully-functional, non-expiring version...and they never replied to me.
Anyway, I did a few searches on versiontracker and came across CosmoPod at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/32110 which does basically the same thing as FLVR (e.g., icon in Safari address bar), is about 5 bucks cheaper than FLVR. Also, when the demo version expired, it brings you to their web site which gives easy instructions to pay your "share" for the "ware". I was able to easily port the transaction of 10 dollars through PayPal and they instantly sent me an email that contained an activation key which I simply double-clicked and now CosmoPod is fully functional on my Mac. In my opinion, although I've only used it a few days to maniacally download Youtube and news videos, I have to say the people who developed this sofware are not only experts in their craft at creating such an elegant solution to a BIG friggin' problem, they are downright HUMANITARIANS for making such a pearl available to us for such a pittance. Thank you, CosmoPod!

Are any of you using CosmoPod 1.9 or FLVR 2.0 with OS X 10.5 (Leopard)? I really liked FLVR 1.0 and now since I upgraded to Leopard, I too can't use it. I did send an email, so, time will tell.I tried downloading CosmoPod - trial version. In the installation process, it said: Installing to: /Applications/RealPlayer.app. Do you need the full version to work from within Safari? I didn't get an extra button in the Safari Address bar.
Thanks: Paul
