Geeeeezusssss, I avoided until now... and thought I'd try again. Try something as simple as this... Select a note, and hit delete. The next note in sequence gets highlighted and gets deleted if you confirm delete. WTF, ....gives me lots of confidence!!!
The selected record GETS DELETED only if you tell SOHO to delete without a confirmation dialog!!!
Also seaching doesn't work ....and "Rebuild Seach Index" does nothing!!!
Doesn't somebody TEST something as simple as this????
I would love to use SOHO one of these days ....but when. I've given up hope!!

.....so with the bugs, slooooowness, and all around instability of past v6 versions, why am I always coming back to see if this swiss-army knife of a notes-taking and org app is finally back from the F'nn dead?I've used and own Jotz, StickyB/SOHO, DevonT, Yojimbo and have archives in all of them. Currently using Yojimbo with archives into DevonT.
With the feature set of SOHO, I so want to use it again. Am I a masochist? Am I wasting my time? Do I want to go through the pain of sifting through the hundreds of duplicates flagged by ConflictResolver? ...let alone the bugs that seem ironed out ...but others surface after a new build.?
SOHO is the premier note/org app on the market , but also the most bug ridden and frustrating one. I will give this F'r another chance one day. Like I did Canvas!
Anybody out there putting SOHO through some heavy paces??

I loved Personal Organizer 4.5. I loved StickyBrain. But subsequent versions of Notes/Organizer have been horrible. Nothing but frustration and disaster (like the day it destroyed my entire address book).Like others who have written comments, I'd like to see a version that works well. But after several years of this, we must recognize that there's something catastrophically wrong in the corporate culture and management at Chronos. They don't seem to care about developing high quality, reliable software. Given this lack of concern, It becomes, I submit, dangerous to use any of their software.
I also have given up. I am very happy with the combination of Yojimbo and Contactizer.

The 6.5.1 version fixes the delete problem, but this commenter is absolutely correct: does anyone test this application? This kind of stuff does NOT instill confidence. Tried it, deleted it (at least it said it deleted it, who knows, maybe it deleted the next application in the folder, lol).Reply to This
