Red Snapper : major problems

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I downloaded the current trial version of Red Snapper a couple of days ago. The program worked great, just what I was looking for.

I was a little troubled by the fact that I couldn't find Red Snapper on the Tasty website.

After the two day trial period I clicked on the pop up. I thought I would pay for it. All it did was take me back to the website, one without Red Snapper or any way to pay or any explanation.

I agree with the previous feedback. I emailed customer support with no result.

I don't know why a developer would do this. There must be some exlanation. I wish Tasty Apps would provide one on there site.

Red Snapper : back in action!! - musos_dotmac

I also thought that something had gone wrong at TastyApps but....
I e-mailed them about FLVR and Red Snapper and immediately got a reply.
It seems that Leopard nuked Safari plugins, so they have created a new app called Videobox, which will replace it, and it's free to paid FLVR customers.

Apparently an update for Red Snapper is coming soon too.

They apologised for being "missing in action" owing to personal problems, and I'm more than prepared to give them another chance, for their honesty and because I like the apps!!

Red Snapper : back in action!! - ghostlexx

I got the same info.

I guess RS is pulled because it'll not work with 10.5..
..But I used to use it all the time, so am looking forward to 10.5 version
