I bought AM for my mac years ago, based on an impressive demo reel at a Macworld convention. Even in the old OS9 version, it was virtually impossible to do much of anything with the software due to frequent crashing.
I upgraded to what the company promised was the OSX version, thinking that the migration to that more stable system would do the trick. Infuriatingly, it was merely the 'Classic' enabled version. The company posted a true OSX version some time later, that I was qualified to run from the disk I had (the 'martian').
That version was so slow, even the interface took forever to load.
I gave up on trying to do anything after spending 300 dollars total on this turkey. I feel very ripped off. And now I read from others that nothing has changed, it's still a kludge on the mac platform.
I strongly advise anyone (with a mac, anyway) to steer clear of this software.

I'm sure the reviewer is sincere, but there are so many A:M mac users using the program successfully and productively that I'm inclined to conclude something is amiss with the user's computer. He doesn't give us many details about his OS version or the exact version of A:M he's using or even the nature of the problems he's having so not much diagnosis is possible here.Reply to This
