I downloaded from Versiontracker. I ran the installer, but it failed because I "did not have enough permissions" - I didn't notice anything about uninstalling first; I do have sufficient permissions, and even if I didn't shouldn't it LET me authenticate? That is not the issue I bring up here though.
So, I decided to try to trick it - I navigated into the package contents and ran the installer with sudo - it completed okay - but rather than taking my Safari back to adobe as the regular installer later did - it took me here: http://www.vbs.tv/player.php?bccl=MTY3MzM1OF9fRVRD .
I am guessing that this is some kind of Easter Egg embedded in the installer for Adobe somebody's testing. This is probably NOT what they wanted to get out into the wild.
