I DL'd this today to join an IRC channel my son helps run. He had no idea how to us eit, so I was on my own.
Opened it up and right away knew what I needed to enter and where. I was in the channel in a few minutes. What I found was it was not setup fto use scripts and I had to 1 find them, and 2 figure out how to install/use them.
Some I grabbed are Itunes, Weather, and sysinfo. iTunes works great, but does not auto enter the song that is playing. You have to type /itunes each time. Weather asked me the first time what my zip was, but did not ever show the weather when I typed /weather. Sysinfo will not bring up prefs, but at least does show the commands it supports, only if you know them. A trip to Script Editor showed me the commands and I copied a few down I wanted to use.

All in all a good, seemingly solid IRC client. Never quit, no one complained about my messages or the format they were coming in and the only complaint I have is the scripts... they need some serious attention.
