I've used BC for years, and it has helped. But, I just discovered an app and I gotta say Shades is the only way to go. Ever notice in BC when you lower the brightness you also lose contrast? It gets all hazy and makes me think I have cataracts! Also, when you are done adjusting with BC you have to either minimize the window, or hide the app altogether. Shades doesn't mess with your contrast, and has a handy menu-bar control that's very accessible and gets out of your way by itself. Sorry BC, but you haven't made any progress and now the real deal is here.

You've gotten years of use out of this product and you give it 1 star? Nice. I have to say your review gets 1 star as well.
