The previous clarification is wrong, assuming the person making the clarification knows what a reference movie is.

TransformMovie does not create a reference movie. It makes a complete copy of the original movie, i.e. it is self-contained.

it does NOW.
And yes, I do know what a reference movie is otherwise I would not have brought it up.
I think it is obvious that you just changed the behavior of the app since you just made this comment 8 months after I pointed out the fact and are trying to make it look like it was always the case, which I think makes you and your statements pretty pathetic.
When I made that observation 8 months ago after trying out the version back then, the fact is that it DID create a reference movie.
Now that you have changed the app to make a self-contained movie does not make my observation at that time wrong ...it makes your statement a lie.

More Clarification - Joe_Pagliaro

Dear trance,

I absolutely did NOT change the program so that it doesn't make reference movies in response to your comment. That's absurd! If I had done that the version history provided in the software distribution would have mentioned it.

Probably the reason I didn't respond to this statement sooner is that I missed it. TM, after all, hasn't required many updates. For example I missed your reply which I am responding to now. Since I write so much software (visit my site) I am often so busy that I may miss the comments posted in between or just after an update. Although I do try to read them as frequently as possible.

Moreover, all previous versions (of all my software) is available. For example, to get version 1.0.1 of TM, the version you claim made reference movies, is at:

http://www.limit-point.com/Utilities/TransformMovie101.dmg

Get it and see. It makes full copies of the movie data. That's why the result is as large as the original.

Now, you are not going to suggest I went back and changed that one to, are you? How about version 1.0? That didn't create reference movies either.
