It works smooth on my iphone. No problems so far. I still don't like the idea that you can't create your own ring-tones because of this update. I feel if I can do it on my computer than I should be able to do it on my iphone. An Iphone is a computer and a phone. You can cut and splice music that you purchased on your computer so it should be allowed on the iPhone. An apple rep at the apple store told me that Apple wanted to allow iPhone users to create there own ring-tones but were told by the record labels that they would have to charge. Hmmmm I wonder if thats true ....probably
