Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

As expected I lost the ringtones I added using iToner after the iPhone update 1.1.1 and iTunes update 7.4.2.

I was able to do the iPhone update with no problems. The phone works as before with no bugs. I went to see if my custom ringtones were still there and they weren't. So I proceeded to synch them again using iToner and it looked like it went through the synching process OK and I received no error. However, when I went to see if the ringtones were on the iPhone they weren't.

I'm sure it will only be a maintenance update of iToner to start working again. So I'll wait it out until then. Otherwise it's a great product and does the trick without hacking your precious iPhone.

iToner added ringtones stop work at iPhone 1.1.1 update - daniel4510_dotmac

Yes, the iToner ringtones do remain, they just don't show up on the list of ringtones (but they do show up in iToner and can be removed). This makes sense, since after syncing my phone, my ringtones were still set to my custom ringtones. However, not seeing them in the list, I set them to the default ringtone. Shouldn't otta done that, as I suspect the ringtones would have still worked. So the folks at Ambrosia simply(?) need to figure out a way to have the ringtones appear in the listing again.
