When I got my PowerMac G5, I thought sure that I would finally have to give this old scanner the heave-ho. With a Firewire-SCSI adaptor and Vuescan, I have been able to continue using this old workhorse. I formerly used Vuescan on a G4 tower that I installed a SCSI card. Vuescan provides the support for OS X that HP didn't. Thank you.
