Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I'm forever grateful and appreciative to the many many coders out there extending and enhancing the Mac experience, but I have to 100% agree that not only is this product overpriced for what it does, it's irrelevant.

To capture an icon to use as an image file simply:
1 Copy it from it's Get Info box
2. Open Preview and Paste from the clipboard (no need to create a New doc)
3. Save out as PMG file.
4. Open that file in Photoshop (etc) and there you'll see the icon as an image with it's alpha channel (aka) transparency in tact at it's full size.

If you look at the feature set more closely, or tried the program you'd see not only does it offer more options than PNG, but does much more than create images from icons.

Also, forgot to mention as a contextual menu it is far easier to use, and batch processes files. Imagine your method when you need to do more than few files. :-)

Thanks for the great advice. $25 is just way too much for a program like this.
