Doesn't work with PowerBook G4

Feedback Type: Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I couldn't get a response with my LX90 through Autostar handset into either the USB via serial to USB convertor or direct to the RJ12 socket. I don't understand the significance of 'modem' in the connection list. Otherwise I like the way night mode does the whole screen, menu bars and all. :-)

Doesn't work with PowerBook G4 - sehutson

From the developer:

ScopeDriver is in use on many Powerbook G4 machines, so something else must be wrong. The usual culprit is the wrong type of cable between the USB-to-serial adapter and the telescope.

And "modem" appears in the Connect dialog because all serial ports are listed there, and your modem is a serial device.

I encourage you to contact me directly if you are having connection issues. They are generally very easy to solve.

Steve
