The server list and fit-to-window features are nice, but at this time, its not nearly as fast as VNCViewer (by Robert Kedoin). If it can match/surpass the speed of VNCViewer, it would become my new default client.

Connects are over a local network running at 1 Gbit/s speeds. The servers are few year old PC boxes running RealVNC servers. The client machine is a G4 1.5 GHz Powerbook running 10.4.10.Wednesday, September 26 2007 @ 08:43 AM PDT

hmmm that's weird, I presume you are using it over a slow link then, as for me VNCViewer is much slower over the local net.I should say that JollysFastVNC is slow in cases of a slow connection as it does not support tight or other more sophisticated encodings yet.
If it's on the local net it could be that the server is beeing overwhelmed with the number of requests it's getting from JollysFastVNC ( that's happeing with x11vnc ) and then the server slows down output dramatically.
If none of the above appears to be the case in your situation contact me please as it might be a bug then.
