Used Product For: Less than a month

Strange, there seems to be much more than that stated elsewhere! And from personal experience, the game seems more stable with this patch, I have yet to even see a Scrin ship!

Quoted from EA's website and Apple's!
"What’s New in this Version
- This patch will enable online play so you can take your GDI, Nod, or Scrin units and wage war against all Mac and PC users!
- Makes a specific fix to the Scrin Mothership unit. There will now be an 8 second delay to fire with the Mothership after it has deployed."

••• WARNING •••
A new bug has been introduced.

CIDER will NOT proplery quit 1 out of 10 tens times.

The C&C 3 icon remains in my dock after quiting the game from it's menu. The game application itself quits normal, but Cider stays open. This can be a serious problem for those that want their Mac's to go to sleep or dim the monitor.

Now back to kicking NOD butt!

One fix? - myamid

The game failing to quit cleanly is not a new bug... it was present in the original unpatched release... This has been known to happen with pretty much all cider games.

Anecdotal evidence seems to point to an issue with RAM management... users with alot of RAM (like 3GB) don't seem to have this issue....
