Feature requests go into black hole

Feedback Type:  Review

Contributed by: cocoaNut Friday, September 21 2007 @ 09:11 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I've owned Daylite for years and have made many feature requests and not a single request has made its way into the application. I've asked for normal things such as recurring tasks and radical things such as making the note pane less ugly and a notification system that works when Daylite isn't running. I know I'm not the only one with this problem and it's frustrating. Now, I'm afraid the developers (after this update) are going into development of a project module rather then fleshing out the core application with features and badly needed interface polish.

Feature requests go into black hole - justdoors

I totally agree about feature requests. No respose from e-mails or the message boards. I've asked questions or asked for simple feature requests in at least 10 different threads or emails and have never received a response. Add bug reports to the list of things that go into the black hole too....I really wanted to love this app. Someone needs to buy them out and put a decent programmer or two to work on it. We need a great crm app on the mac platform.

Feature requests go into black hole - EndlessFx

I agree, as well. I am responding to your 2007 review almost a year later and MarketCircle is yet in the same rut. It apparently decided from the "get-go" that whatever implementations they came up with in-house will forever and ever override customer request. They come across as believing customers could not possibly need to request anything they haven't included nor are customers capable of giving useful feedback.

I have used from DayLite (and purchased) from the time it hit the market. I believe that without MarketCircle, DayLite might be grand!

MarketCircle is the absolute worst in customer care, customer concern, and effective troubleshooting, with seeming disdain and fear of its own supporters.

I do not believe I can afford to waste any more time trying to work with them. Although I dread trying to get information I have entered in DayLite to another application, there must be something else out there that comes with efficacious customer and technical service.
