Don't waste your money on this program, it sucks, and sucks hard. It crashes on me several times a day, always when I try to submit auctions. I mean, it's the most very basic function of the program, to submit auctions to eBay, and it can't do that right. It's all gloss,
iSale isn't really that full featured. eBay continually adds new features to their listings, features which are still not available in iSale, six months after they were introduced. I guess they were busy drawing up another dozen crappy templates to include in the next
version to add any more features (or fix the bugs, for that matter).

Good luck contacting their customer service if you have a problem. I did, and it took no less than an email-a day for two weeks before I heard back from them, and they seemed genuinely annoyed that a paying customer was bothering them. And forget about suggesting a feature like SFTP (you know, the current standard in file transfer), because they seem to have no interest in listening.

Take your money elsewhere, or use eBay's free services. Just don't spend a dime on this garbage.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. It is inelegant and I always have to edit the item after I post it on eBay to get it right. You can easily lose lots of money if you don't. Might as well do the whole thing in Ebay which is what Ebay wants, so they can charge you up the ying-yang for their templates, etc. How this got a design award is beyond me. Must have been from someone that doesn't really sell on Ebay. One thing's for sure, this program reflects Ebays own challenges and snafus quite well. Both companies sell us far less than our expectations.

Yes & you have to QUICKLY go to eBay and edit it. I like to post 10-20 auctions at a time, so this can really suck! Now using GarageSale:)
