Doesn't resolve ATV synching issues

With iTunes 7.3.2, I set my playlists in the Music tab, it synched with my ATV, and all was good.

Since the release of iTunes 7.4.2, which as I understand was more to do with iPhones (not due to this part of the globe for another year or so), my playlist selection for synching, and indeed the expanded ATV content listing in iTunes bears no resemblance to each other. It just syncs my entire Library regardless of setting. I reverted back to 7.3.2 yesterday and all was well again. I tried 7.4.2 today, and all is stuffed again. Go figure!

And yes, I've factory restored my ATV, wiped, cleaned, updated, permissioned, cached, rebooted...but the facts remain.

Not happy.
