I have used this product for several years.....It saved me from having to purchase a new scanner. I'm using UMAX 1200S and it works great.

I have an old Agfa SnapScan 1212 (USB)... it is as slow as cold molasses. WIll this software speed up the scanning process at all?

If the hardware is slow, slow it will stay. But download the software and try it. If you like how it works for you, then pay it.
