The version information on this page is not current. 1.0.8076.0 is shown here while Microsoft's downloads page shows 1.0.9038.0 which they also refer to as "Version 1.0, Service Pack 1" and also as "1.0.2 (9038)" from within the program itself.

I agree that the version information is incorrect. The Service Pack- build (9038) - is worth installing if only because it has the ability to check for upgrades, manually or automatically. This is an improvement on Microsoft's complicated website which only reinforced my reasons for using a Mac rather than a PC. I wonder how many users will known there's an upgrade because Microsoft didn't send an eMail or make it easy to find out.Reply to This
