Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I decided buying DVDxDV because it can save .mov files which quicktime pro can handle quick. Not as the .avi or .mp4 files produced by handbrake and others, for ex. VisualHub has the option of making .mpeg-Files but quicktime also processes them slow.

It's a shame that DVDxDV that costs 25 $ has the worst quality of all tested utils, even in the "highest quality" mode. VisualHub with its smoothing filters and Handbrake in avi output generates much better picture quality and have options of pre-cropping, which I deeply miss.

I suggest improving this and giving a free upgrade to the buyers of the latest version ;-)
I wouldn't pay again 25 $ for it.
