While the layout and look of Numbers is striking, and the usability is much better than Excel, Apple really dropped the ball on one key function - error bars on graphs! If you're going to use this product for any scientific purpose, don't. It does not have the ability to add error bars, an absolute must for anything in science. It's really unfortunate because the graphs are beautiful (much nicer than Excel which always made ugly graphs, imo). Perhaps the next release.
