Existing users, 
After completing all torrents as directed restarted and installed the update.
Within minutes the first crash happened.
After 4 restarts and 2 disk repairs and permissions fixes...etc
No different, still crashes...
The app is probably the best BT client there is for the MAC, simple reasonably elegant, but current version seems to be flawed, have re-installed V .81 which whilst it too has flaws seems at little more stable.
To date there is no better client, but this version is not the upgrade it purports to be.

You should be running the latest, 0.82. From your posts on the Transmission forums I can say that at least some of your problems are from bugs in 0.80 that have been fixed since then..Wednesday, September 12 2007 @ 09:02 AM PDT

Use 0.61 IF you can... that's my recommendation, i was using it until 0.82 worked for me, the versions between 0.61 and 0.82 didn't work for me... but we might have diff systems so...I am running 10.4.10 on PPCs...
