Getting Blank System Preference screen ...

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I installed version 1.1 yesterday (updating the previous version) and, right before the Installation finishes, it launched the System Preference screen with Growl selected ... However, the screen seems to stall with the message "Growl Loading ..." in the title bar. After waiting 15-20 minutes, I rechose the Growl preference and it displayed a blank screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but with the same results.

After choosing the "Show All" button, I receive the following error messages in my System log:
... /Applications/System Preferences.app/Contents/MacOS/System Preferences: Failed to create window context device
.../Applications/System Preferences.app/Contents/MacOS/System Preferences: CGWindowContextCreate: failed to create software delegate.

In my Console log, in addition to the 2 messages above appearing, I receive 2 other error messages:
... System Preferences[2280] _initWithWindowNumber: error creating graphics ctxt object for ctxt:100831, window:0
... System Preferences[2280] CGPixelAccessLock failed!

Please let me know how to fix this issue, since I've grown quite used the Growl notifications popping up!! Thanks!
