MacDaddyX looks same as "Mac Makeup" (winapp)
Is this legal? It seems the devs are different, though the apps are similar, and the oidb.hcw is the same - stolen?
Anyways, MacDaddyX doesnt work on my iBook G4 PPC - THIS IS USELESS

> MacDaddyX looks same as "Mac Makeup" (winapp)Yes MacDaddyX was I made similar to MacMakeup since it was what I was using before switching to MAC. I have tried to change the interface and also wrote an email to MacMakeup author to make sure it is ok.

hehe.. Where I live it is but.. as I said above I have changed the GUI a little and have also sent an email to MacMakeup author to verify if there will be any issues it is still in development and will change if needed.

Sorry was suppose to be using database from: http://standards.ieee.org was using oidb.hcw for MacMakeup when I started writing app and didnt change it.

as far as USELESS it would be more helpful to state what the problem or issue was and try to be helped. the program is FREE and is USEFUL to lots of other users.
MacDaddy is front-end for built-in utilities. If you cant change your MAC using ifconfig command then it wont work as of now. There are other patch stuff you can do to make work on some systems. Just search google. If you can change though with ifconfig. Sometimes the random OID that is generated or DeviceID is not liked by some NICs.
Also anyone using windows MacMakeup is a great program. I am not affiliated with it or have anything to do with them.
