A typical Microsoft move. I downloaded this out of curiosity. All you get is a dmg with a single package installer with no documentation about what it's going to install or where. TRASHED. After Microsoft got ahold of Connectix Virtual PC it has been the ONLY app to EVER cause me a kernel panic, EVER. They fixed it later, but I've been very gun-shy of MS app since that fiasco.
Sorry, Microsoft, you are going to have to come up with an installer that shows just what is going to be installed on my system and where or at least include a text tile that states as much. There's no trust, sorry... already been burned. And, yes, I did check out the package contents and saw some text files, but screw that, I'm not going to waste my time digging around to figure out what's going to happen just because a multibillion dollar company can't do their job right.
Like I said, trashed until there's an installer I can trust. Good luck, suckers....

Calm down. It's just a frakin' web browser plugin. I don't recall ever seeing a .pkg installer ever say exactly where it installs things anyway... If you're really curious, go download Pacifist.BTW, I have the Silverlight plugin in my /Library/Internet Plug-ins directory, right where the installer put it in case you're wondering.
I don't personally think that Microsoft has a chance against Flash, but I am glad that they made the plugin available for the Mac in case even a handful of websites start using it.

It's called a Read Me file. See it very often. Maybe you are a newbie, I dunno.

Unfortunately I doubt your single refusal to use the product is going to put Microsoft in any position where they could validly be referred to as "suckers".However, they ARE suckers for making this product in the first place. Imagine trying to compete with Flash...
