Developers ought to tell that the beta not only reverts previous versions to "unregistered". It DELETES them for good. If you don't have a backup, try to find v.1 anywhere on the dev's site or @ VT or @ MU!

Deletes v.1 - mhayes--2008

I had no problem finding v1 on the developers site.

Deletes v.1 - Felix01

The ReadMe clearly states that the beta does not preserve the user defined rules created with version 1.x, tells you how to revert to version 1.x (if desired) and provides a link to the old version.

The Little Snitch 1.x rules are not deleted and remain available for use by anyone who wants to return to the previous version. But you would need to re-enter your serial number.
