Try deleting all pieces of BRIDGE-there are Javascripts in there im told that turn off LS.
Use Easyfind (my preffered) or Spotlight.(which I never use)

Can you explain this further? Do you mean Adobe Bridge? You're suggesting deleting the entire Bridge app?
