Missing important feature

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Transmit is missing an important feature (to me) which has forced me to stop using the software. It doesn't have a "Keep Connection Alive" option and my server constantly disconnects me. Since I work directly on my server for various reasons I ended up reconnecting many, many times a day to do my work. I said enough and moved to something else. How could such a "high-end" ftp program omit such a basic feature?

There is a "Keep connections alive during long transfers" option. Hold down option and choose "Advanced Preferences" in the Transmit menu. You'll see to edit the server or default options to see that specific command.

Just leave the window open, it automatically reconnects for you.

Thanks for the tips but my problem isn't about the connection dropping during 'long transfers' nor does the software reconnect if I simply leave the window open. In fact, in years of using Transmit connecting to various ftp servers it has NEVER simply reconnected by itself, regardless of what settings I used; hence my original post.
