yes it does work - you just need to change the extension to .iso after the conversion.
(why doenst the app do that??)

It doesn't delete the previous image as I want it to be non-destructive.

If the conversion has worked then a new image with the extension .iso will be created. If not then either the image didn't need conversion (as I would guess is what happened in your case) or it was corrupt.

Yes one big problem I have with this release is that there is no success/error reporting mechanism which I believe causes a lot of confusion. I am currently working on a new version that converts more image formats and gives more reports.
