I have to transfer tens of thousands of file of a few kB to hundreds of MB in a flawless manner (unattended). App seems to stall on upload in passive mode after about 1000 files, aborting transfer hangs application. I'll give it this, the app doesn't terminate but then again it just remains frozen. Upon connection to a remote UNIX system the app does not refresh the view automatically but must have it done manually. On 8-3-07 I was able to upload several thousands of files without a glitch then somewhere around the middle of this month, after Apple OS updates, the application has begun to exhibit the above described behavior. I have sent in error logs and descriptions before this release but I still am seeing the same problems. Anyone know why this may be? Is there a problem running in passive mode with the OS X ftp server active? Any help is welcome.
System Info:iMac G5, 2.1 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.10 with all system patches as of this date.
