The current update gets stuck at launch showing two progress bars that say "preparing", and the cancel button does not work. I deleted the app and reinstalled, same problem. Still waiting on a response (two emails) from customer service. This is the second French software outfit that I have had problems with and cannot get a response from. A trend perhaps?

If I should quote amerikans software dev who never answered me (although they fully enjoyed payment for their work in very good EUROS) I would need a more than a few pages.Silence from developers is International: it has a lot to do with politeness, decency very seldom with attempts to look into problems before answering. Wariness about foreigners is very amerikan.
Equally questionable attitudes.

I found what what causing the problem. By deleting the file Documents.plist located in ~/Movies/Pulpmotion/ the problem disappeared.Reply to This
