This app is so close to being perfect. In terms of checking the bookmarks to find whether they're valid, it does a beautiful job. For those having troubles with it reporting too many time outs or not found pages, I'd recommend adjusting the preferences. Move the top slider towards cool and the bottom slider toward a higher number. Unlike another similar app I was able to tweak these settings adequately to get excellent results.
After that it falls apart a little. It's a little tedious and dangerous to go through the bookmarks it finds.
First off, there's no undo! If you delete a bookmark accidentally, your only option is to close without saving and start over again.
Second, there's not enough keyboard control. The app really needs the ability to move between bookmarks using the keyboard. A superfast shortcut to view the URLs would be nice too... I keep wanting to tap the right arrow key, like you can in NetNewsWire. Even better if I could also open the URLs in the background (again, like NetNewsWire)... This would allow me to go through the bad URLs very quickly.
If it had those features I would gladly pay money for it! Throw in the ability to check for duplicate URLs and I'd pay even more.
