After years of having to go through several dozen e-mails a day and selecting what was junk and what wasn't in Apple's Mail program, I finally took the plunge and tried SpamSieve. While the installation isn't as simple as one would expect for an Mac app (i.e. dragging it into the Application folder) it still isn't difficult and only takes a few minutes.
Right from the get go SpamSieve managed to reduce the amount of junk in my Inbox but three quarters and the program is quickly learning what I perceive as spam. I can only imagine within a few days I won't have to worry about junk mail anymore.
And while I agree with many the price tag is a bit steep for such a program (or is it plugin?) I'm still happy enough with the demo I'm willing to part with the $30.
If you have a lot of spam that is missed my your e-mail program definitely check out the 30-day demo of SpamSieve. I think after a short time you'll see the benefit of such a program.
