I've locked myself out

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I burnt a read/write (.dmg) disc image and installed your product onto it. It automatically restarted the computer and shut me out (I didn't have the time or option to move the image onto an external disc). I can't get into my computer, what should I do?

Hitting the "OK" button on the installer when it is done will automatically force the system to restart.

Did you already run the "Firmware Password Utility"? If not you can start in single-user mode and get rid of the daemon from there using:
rm -Rf /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.electriceelprod.securitykeycheck

or start up in target disk mode and connect it to another mac and get rid of it that way.

Also, if you have access to another mac and you remember the password you used you can generate another key on that mac. Be careful, do not hit the "OK" button on the installer until you have made the key.
