3 updates in less than 2 weeks? - bratdaddy

Considering that business level AV software is updated at least daily, in some cases hourly, 3 updates in two weeks for DAT files is totally unacceptable. There are new Windows viruses added daily, and that is a Mac users primary reason for running AV software at this time. I have not tried this particular product in years. At that time they seemed to be competing with Norton to see who could make the best uninstaller. Based on my experience both products were terrible. If I couldn't afford to use what I have now I would use ClamXav. It still has issues with mailbox files but it really is thorough. I am bewildered by the state of the Mac offerings. The few that are commercially available are burdensome with overhead, are generally ineffective, are updated far too infrequently and are too expensive. Other than that.. some have nice icons...
