This doesn't include storage, of course. With free online services such as Pando (http://www.pando.com) and BingoDisk (http://www.bingodisk.com) which offer free sharing of files up to 1 GB via included software or web interface , is it really worthwhile to pay $15 for this?

Is it indespensible? It depends on what you want. Pando must be installed by the sender and reciever. Also, FileChute is incredibly easy to use and convenient. How will you know if it's for you? Easy--try the demo.
