Kernel Panics or quits EVERY TIME in the middle of indexing. Consistently.
Would be cool otherwise.

Applications Don't Cause Kernel Panics - michaeltsai
EagleFiler is an ordinary Mac OS X application. It does not install any kernel extensions or other system modifiers. As such, due to the architecture of Mac OS X, it's not possible for it to cause kernel panics. A panic can only be caused by a hardware problem (e.g. bad RAM), a bug in the OS, or a bug in a driver or kernel extension. It's possible for an application trigger a panic, e.g. by doing something that exposes one of these underlying problems that already existed, but the problem needs to be resolved at a lower level. For example, to try to isolate the cause you could check your RAM by using Memtest while booted into single user mode, remove any non-Apple kernel extensions or drivers, check your drive using Disk Utility/DiskWarrior/Drive Genius, or re-install the OS in case one of its files is damaged.Reply to This
