The only thing I wanted this program for was to join files, but when I try to join them it does nothing but use up CPU power until you force quit it.
I recommend Ajoiner instead for joining files together, instead of this useless program.

If you comment had any accuracy I would be flooded by support emails. So the question is what exactly we're you trying to do? What was the filesize of the parts? Your comments are fairly useless since you have provided no information with which to test this issue. Considering the number of people that use this application and the number that register every day I suspect I'd have had at least one person report something similar. Now if you are referring to the speed at which it joins, the engine was rewritten quite some time back to allow for the joining of files upto and above 2.5gigs from parts of that size or larger. This requires slightly more processor time yes, but allows jigsaw to do something other joiners cannot, join extreemly large files.
