I don't understand the issues

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

I find this application perfectly reliable. I don't know what else you have in your menubar (I have default folder, stufit magic menu, the versiontracker search icon, pgp, clamav scanner, etc.) I have not seen weatherpop "disappear". It has not crashed on updating. It always shows up on login. It has given whatever temperature the source gives, and of course the sources are easily modifiable. I prefer weatherunderground. Weatherpop works in various cities in Germany, etc. It's a great app, and I like the visuals. I think it's a four star app but I'm giving it five because the one-star reviews are so ridiculous.

You make no sense - Hannibal Fortune

Just because you don't understand the issues doesn't mean you can dismiss them or change your rating because of them. That's just plain stupid. I would rate according to my own experience, not because of what anybody else says. And in fact, I do have the same problems as others do, through several years of using Weatherpop Advance on several Macs and from 10.2 through 10.4. It does lock up and stop updating until I quit and restart the app, and this happens once every week or so. And on other occasions, it just disappears, apparently quitting without warning. It's been getting better, but still not perfect. You likely shut down your machine nightly, which would let you avoid the problems. My machines are never shut down, only asleep when not in use, so problems can accumulate in bad apps. So until you can speak for everyone, don't badmouth others' experiences.
